Hi there. We’re Zuora. We’re powering the Subscription Economy and changing the way people do business.
One CEO. 1200+ ZEOs. While we are led by one CEO, our career paths and the ways we work are defined by us, the ZEOs. That means we take ownership of our destiny. Challenge the status quo. Be empowered yet accountable in seizing opportunities. Together, we build a collaborative culture that nurtures and inspires ZEOs to deliver our best. From monthly social-themed parties, hackathons, and
philanthropic endeavors, to choosing how each of us grows professionally – ZEOs are not afraid to speak up and get things done quickly.
And we’re growing. We’re looking for game changers, innovators, and leaders who can take us to the next level in helping the world build successful subscription-based businesses.
Interest piqued? Learn more about our culture and what it means to be a ZEO.
Growing companies attract and retain top talent by offering excellent benefits – medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, free snacks, and drinks. ZEOs also enjoy other perks – many suggested, voted, and driven by ZEOs across the company. Here are a few examples that demonstrate ZEO power.
An active body keeps an active mind. We enjoy financial support for gym memberships and a wide variety of fitness events driven by ZEOs and their interests.
It’s all about being as proactively healthy as possible, right? At no cost to ZEOs, our offices frequently host health-oriented programs and events.
We encourage and support giving back to the communities we work and live in—it’s the ZEO way. Whether it be a financial contribution or a donation of time, we make it easy for ZEOs to make a meaningful difference.
Life in the office is exciting but we recognize and value the challenges, adventures and joys outside of work. ZEOs appreciate parenting leaves, financial support for child care, paid time off, and much more to spend valuable time with family and friends.
We enjoy working together, but we also make it a point to have fun, too.
The journey of learning and lifelong development empowers us to create our own future. From free access to the entire Lynda.com training catalog to monthly company all-hands meetings to leadership and technical training courses, ZEOs continue to grow professionally in the way that makes the most sense to them.
"Shortly after I joined Zuora I was invited to participate in the Rock n' Roll SF half marathon. I had done some running before but never a long race like this one. I thought it was impossible. But I accepted the challenge to say fir and with a few months of training completed the race! My mom even flew from the East Coast to watch. I went on to successfully lead the next team in finishing the half marathon race at Half Moon Bay. I am very proud of this accomplishment and that I could help insire others to say fit"
"I love how there is always someone on our team coming up with a fun initiative. Whether it's picking an idea for the annual Halloween competition or getting creative to win the Funny Hat contest, our team enjoys hanging out. We always end the week with a glass of wine and cheese."
"What started as the promise of a free workout and running swag turned into finding something I never knew I was passionate about. Lo and behold 3 half marathons later and helping other ZEOs run and fundraise for the Girls in Tech 'If Girls Ran The World' program, I am beginning to identify as a runner. I run for my mental, physical, and emotional health but I've learned I can also run for others and twoards goals I didn't realize I could achieve. Saying yes to that first half marathon has empowered me to be wildly healthy, ambitious, and happy."
"Hosting Zuora's first 'Inspiring Women in Tech' breakfast at our annual Subscribed event in April 2016 was one of the most memorable days of my life! It was a celebration of inspiring, genuine and profoundly successful technologists who happened to be women."
OUR VISION: THE WORLD. SUBSCRIBED.
Customers have changed. They’re looking for new ways to engage with businesses. Consumers today have a new set of expectations. They want outcomes, not ownership. Customization, not generalization. Constant improvement, not planned obsolescence.

In the old world (let’s call it the Product Economy) it was all about things. Acquiring new customers, shipping commodities, billing for one-time transactions. But in today’s new era, it’s all about relationships. More and more customers are becoming subscribers because subscription experiences built around services meet consumers’ needs better than the static offerings or a single product.
Our vision is “The World Subscribed” where one day every company will be a part of the Subscription Economy® (a phrase coined by our CEO, Tien Tzuo and author of the best selling book Subscribed).
SALES DEVELOPMENT
Our Business Development team is at the forefront of the sales process, driving growth across our Field Sales organization and supporting our Account Executives by sourcing net new deals. Sales Development Representatives aka “ZBRs” as we call them, go way beyond making cold calls and sending out standardized emails—they are the experts in the Subscription Economy and know how to connect with the right prospects. With the partnership of our Marketing team, ZBRs are equipped with C-level messaging to help cut through the noise and generate interest from some of the most innovative and transformational companies in the world. The best part? There’s no better way to grow your sales career than by mastering the sale of a complex product, across multiple industries and to different functions within the executive team. Our ZEO culture empowers ZBRs to explore their career paths across different functions – Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Sales Enablement to name a few!
THE OPPORTUNITY
As a ZBR, you are a master of building pipeline (Sales Qualified Leads) within your geography and market segments. You creatively leverage emails, calls, and social selling tools to help customers master their subscription experience and digital transformations. You love customer conversations, evangelizing brands, and are passionate about helping the B2B/B2C business move to subscription-based pricing models.

Our Vision & Mission
For the last 100 years, companies have operated primarily under a product-centric business model, where the goal was to make, shop and sell more units. Today, there’s a demand to have products and services delivered on a continual, subscription basis, to provide customers the option to upgrade and access new innovations and features constantly. This is the end of ownership, and it changes everything. Our vision is “The World Subscribed” where one day every company will be part of the Subscription Economy (a phrase coined by our CEO, Tien Tzuo).
Zuora’s leading, cloud-based software solution automates all subscription order-to-revenue operations in real-time for any business. Companies in any industry can launch new offerings, shift products to subscription, implement new pay-as-you-go pricing and packaging models, gain new insights into subscriber behavior, and disrupt market segments to gain competitive advantage.
Team & Role
The Zuora University team is a nimble, highly efficient group responsible for delivering product training to our customers, partners and employees. We’re collaborative (but still expect each other to own our respective projects); passionate about learning (but realize we must balance time-to-market with perfection); open to giving and receiving honest feedback (but are always kind) so that, in the end, we deliver the highest quality product.
We’re seeking a LMS(Learning Management System) Administrator who’ll manage systems and data integrations used by the Zuora University team. The ideal candidate will have designed and executed integration projects and have API and programming experience. S/he will be a self-starter, strong problem solver and true collaborator who “owns” systems and integrations for the Zuora University team.
